- Established TIEMCO LTD. for import, export, sales and manufacture of fishing tackle; head office at Sendagaya 1-21-6, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, JAPAN.
- 1970/09
- Relocated head office to Nishiazabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo due to expansion of business.
- 1971/07
- Appointed as an exclusive distributor in Japan for Fenwick-brand products, a major manufacturer of fishing rods in the U.S.A.
- 1973/11
- Appointed as an exclusive distributor in Japan for ORVIS fly-fishing tackle manufactured by the ORVIS INC., an established U.S. manufacturer of fly-fishing rods.
- 1976/06
- Opened "TIEMCO Fly-fishing School", the first of a kind in Japan,and started to promote fly-fishing, which was then not familiar in Japan.
- 1977/06
- Relocated head office to Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, due to expansion of business.
- 1980/03
- Appointed as an exclusive distrobutor in Japan for the fly lines of SCIENTIFIC ANGLERS/3M (manufactured by 3M in the U.S.A.), the world market leader of fly lines.
- 1981/06
- Introduced corporate identity emphasizing interaction with nature,through adoption of new TIEMCO logo mark and advertisement implementing a slogan "Think in the field".
- 1982/01
- Started to market outdoor clothing for fly-fishing "Foxfire" for the first time in Japan, planning a full scale development of outdoor clothing.
- 1984/02
- Launched a unique product line "Leader Clipper" developed in-house, a kind of clipper for fishing lines, and "TMC Fly Hook" specially designed for fly-fishing and made in Japan.
- 1986/07
- Established shipping & warehouse in Ota-ku, Tokyo, for the purpose of rationalization of product control and increase in the speed of shipping work.
- 1988/01
- Launched "Red Pepper" , fishing lures.
- 1989/05
- Newly established shipping & warehouse in Chiba, Chiba prefecture, for the purpose of expanding shipping operation.
- 1992/03
- Launched "Shimazaki DRY-SHAKE", floatant for flies, which later became an essential item for fly-fishing.

- Built a new head office and relocated to Kikukawa, Sumida-ku, Tokyo due to expansion of business.

- Launched "EUFLEX", a fly-fishing rod developed in-house and thereby established an original brand of rod.

- It renovates a brand logo of Foxfire greeting the 25th anniversary and changes a brand statement to "True to nature" and puts a new oath.

- Launched the mosquito-repellent "SCORON" series of clothing with the technology of Teijin LTD. and Earth Chemical Co.,Ltd.

- Launched “CRITTER TACKLE”, unique concept bass fishing bait series.

- Launched “LOCOISM”, specialized for each local bass fishing style.

- Introduced the Fenwick “ACES” flagship series of bass fishing rods.

- TMC Ceramic Bobbin Fine Tube won IFTD 2018 New Product Showcase Award.

- Capital and business alliance with Snow Peak, Inc.

- Established a joint venture “CAMPERS AND ANGLERS co., Ltd.” together with Snow Peak, Inc., Ibic
and Ibic Foods.
